Zovo Website Status Checker
Check if a website is up right now, from the edge, with header grades and a CSV.
Zovo Website Status Checker makes a live request from the edge network to each website you name. It follows the redirect chain hop by hop, reports the final HTTP status and its meaning, the total time, whether HTTPS was used, the page title, the content type and size, the six important security headers with an A-F grade, and whether robots.txt and a sitemap exist. You get a plain verdict for each address (up, down, blocked, page not found, redirects to ...) and a CSV file with all columns.
What it does
- A live request from the edge network at the moment you ask, not a cached or stored answer
- Up to 10 domain names or http(s) addresses in one call
- Manual redirect chain (up to 10 hops) with the status, location and time of each hop
- HTTP status with its plain meaning, total response time and TLS used
- Page title from a bounded scan, content type and reported Content-Length size (or size not reported)
- Security header check: Strict-Transport-Security, Content-Security-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options, X-Frame-Options or frame-ancestors, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, with an A-F grade
- robots.txt status and sitemap discovery from robots.txt or /sitemap.xml
- CSV download with all columns for the address list
Try asking
“Is example.com up right now?”
“Check https://www.cloudflare.com and https://example.com/missing-page-404 for the status and redirect chain”
“Show the security headers and grade for example.com”
Limitations
- One check from the edge network at the moment of the request; it is not a monitoring service and it does not repeat checks
- Sites on zovo.one and its subdomains cannot be checked from inside this network; use another checker for those domains
- A site can block automated checks; 401, 403 and 429 are reported as blocked
- Private, loopback, link-local and reserved addresses and IP literals are refused
- Only the standard ports 80 (http) and 443 (https) can be checked; scripts on the page are not run
